Faculty
Our faculty members at PPS are not just educators; they are facilitators of transformative learning experiences. Equipped with both academic expertise and the skills necessary to create dynamic and engaging classrooms, our teachers embody empathy and acceptance, fostering environments where every student can thrive.
Our faculty engages in regular research and discussions through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) twice a month. These sessions empower them to take initiative, shoulder additional responsibilities, and cultivate leadership qualities. We believe in continuous improvement, and PLCs play a vital role in ensuring the relevance of our professional development.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, where technology and innovation drive change, our teachers must stay ahead of the curve. At PPS, we prioritize training and development as integral parts of our faculty members’ lives. Each year, a dedicated two-week period is set aside for comprehensive training sessions covering various aspects such as academic scaffolding, technology integration, counseling, behavior management, and team building.
Our trainers identify the specific needs of our faculty and tailor sessions to address these needs effectively. Teachers are encouraged to set both professional and personal goals, fostering a culture of continuous growth and self-improvement. Through reflection, feedback, and dialogue, our faculty members track their progress and strive to become multifaceted, energetic, and passionate educators equipped with 21st-century skills.
At PPS, we recognize that our faculty’s growth directly impacts our students’ success. By investing in the development of our teachers, we ensure that our classrooms remain vibrant spaces where learning is a collaborative and interconnected process, preparing students for the challenges of the future.
